Girlfriend v7.0 vs. Wife v1.0
Here’s a funny joke that was sent to me via email. I apologize for sending people to my blog, but this was was the only place I could think of putting it. Enjoy
Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.
In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3 , Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5 , and Racing 3.6.
I can’t seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I’m thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 , but the uninstall doesn’t work on Wife 1.0 . Please help!
Thanks,
Troubled User…..

Dear Troubled User:
This is a very common problem that men complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING !!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfrie nd 7.0 . It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.
You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support . I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application “Yes Dear”
to alleviate software augmentation.
The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE! because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.
Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5 ! and Do Bills 4.2 .
However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !
WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3 . This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system!
Best of luck,
Tech Support

HAHAHA. I just got married recently and I have to say, Wife 1.0 is ok, but I can’t wait for 1.1 to come out
November 3rd, 2007 at 10:08 pm
You failed to mention that there is a custom Open Source uninstallation program for Wife 1.0 that is called Divorce 0.6.2 Beta… but its kind of buggy, and results vary from user to user. You could end up making the entire system unusable. Also, sometimes it causes random infections of the Stalker Plus spyware program, which can only be completely removed with the Smith & Wesson Anti Stalker Suite.
I’m having some major troubles getting Clean & Sweep and Cook It! applications to run with Wife 1.0, but then it never ran with Girlfriend 7.0, so I’m not surprised that this wasn’t fixed with the upgrade. Supposedly, research has told me that my Paycheck Drive is not quite large enough to handle the installation, I thought I might get around this with upgrading to Penile Implant 8.5 Express, but that didn’t get the results desired.
Please advise!
November 3rd, 2007 at 10:35 pm
I will never install MS WIFE 1.0 or any of their apps !
Their coding is inherently poor, proprietary and defective open to trojan, virus and male script attacks. That will take over your computer by installing a rootkit and turning your computer into a zombie running ILLEGITIMATE KID 2.8 (25% success rate) in stealth mode making it appear as a benign system file that drains valuable processor cycles and all other system resources.
I strongly urge people to move over to the open source project app called LIVEIN 6.9
You can get all the benefits of Girlfriend 7 Plus many of the positive functions of Wife 1.0 without the downsides. LIVEIN 6.9 is even compatible with earlier versions of the application enabling multiple versions FRIENDSWITHBENEFITS 5.2 to be run on the same system and it is completely open source!!!
Even the Uninstall application (SPLIT-BITCH! 3.1) works amazing well for all the LIVEIN versions with only a minor rebuild of Furniture 2 and Sofa 8 being likely.
It’s definitely worth trying !

You could always format the hdd, pay the spyware removers to take off Wife 1.0 and install Gone Gay 8.5.
Its more advanced than Girlfriend 7.0 and wont give you any trouble. The spyware programs dont exist and you can always install the portable version of Girlfriend 7.0 if you really want. You have to run it in the 3some framework though. It usually runs well.
Or, you can upgrade to the latest OS, Leopard, and end up with lots of bitemarks and scratches!

I am an old Maccer. I had Wife 1.0 System on my machine for 30 years until it eventually failed out completely and exited irretrievably. After a period of enforced inactivity, I used my improved knowledge to acquire Wife 2.0 which I can tell you is a whole lot better. The new system runs housework 22.6, cooking 44.3, and the full suite of Homecomforts 35.0 - all very advanced versions, needing a really experienced operator to appreciate. I shall not upgrade again - I know when I have a stable machine!

By the way, Wife 2.0 has been running OK on my machine for 10 years now without upgrades or patches, so I can recommend it.

Dear Tech Support:
I think Wife 1.0 has a virus and most definitely comes installed with spyware! Instead of Clean and Sweep 3.0 there seems to be something called Sit on the Couch and Watch TV 5.1, and thats not the only thing! In addition to Cook it 1.5 (which only works intermittently) there are several other programs installed (viruses?) like: Cook it Yourself 4.3, Fast Food 9.9, and We Already Ate at My Sisters 9.0. Clean and sweep isn’t working either, every time I try to open it I get an error message “Please install Maid 5.2″.
I have been researching some other programs on the internet that might be able to run in the background without Wife 1.0 being able to monitor the activity, let me know what you think about them: Stripper 4.3, Mistress 6.9, Working Late 7.2 (used in conjunction with Mistress 6.9), and Porn 2.3.

If Apple designed girlfriend 7.0 and Wife 1.0 you could be smart and instead of doing an “upgrade” you could have done an “archive and install (preserving user and network settings)”. See, that way.. yes you’re now with Wife 1.0 and still have easy access to girlfriend 7.0 for when Wife 1.0 is sleeping =)

Uh, you might consider doing what I did. Run Co-Worker 1.0, convert to Girlfriend 8.0, use Divorce 1.0 to uninstall Wife 1.0 and upgrade to Wife 2.0. This version has some new features: Hot Sex 6.9, Maid Costume 1.0, Nurse Costume 1.0, Interactive Porn 1.0. Be aware that if Wife 1.0 is not fully uninstalled, Wife 2.0 will disable these new features until all legacy files are removed.
Upgrading. Solves all your problems. I wouldn’t exactly call it a clean upgrade (in fact, the whole process was dirty and sucked a lot) but it sure has been fun.

I had a clean uninstall of Wife 1.0. Now I am living with a perfectly clean (virgin-born again) hard drive loaded with Single 0.0.1. I like it even better than Wife 1.0, Girlfrend 7.0, Mistress 6.9 and even Gay 2.0.1. I had to move back in with my parents so my mom (a seasoned version of Wife) handles the Clean and Cook softwares. While this isn’t always the best solution it’s sometimes a necessary step when having uninstall Wife versions that wipe out other files upon uninstalation (like bank account 100.00, house 5 , retirement fund 123 and dog 1.0 and cat 2.0). So here I am with my clean slate in a state of Startover1.

November 5th, 2007 at 11:38 am
Here is something similar
Upgrade from Girlfriend version 6.0 to Wife version 1.0
Last year a friend of mine upgraded Girlfriend 6.0 to Wife 1.0 and found that the program consumed huge amounts of memory leaving very little system resources for other applications. He is only now noticing that Wife 1.0 is also spawning Child-Processes which are further consuming valuable resources.
No mention of this particular phenomena was included in the product brochure or the documentation, though other users have informed him that this is to be expected due to the nature of the application. Not only that, Wife 1.0 installs itself in such a way that it is always launched at system initialization where it can monitor all system activity. He’s finding that some applications such as PokerNight 10.3, BeerBash 2.5 and PartyNight 7.0 are no longer able to run, crashing the system when selected, even though they always worked fine before Wife 1.0 was installed. At installation, Wife 1.0 was also found to automatically install undesired plug-ins such as MotherInLaw 55.8 and BrotherInLaw Beta release. As a consequence system performance seems to diminish which each passing day.
Some features he’d like to see in the upcoming wife 2.0 include:
• A “Don’t remind me again” button.
• A “Minimize”button.
• An install shield feature that allows Wife programs to be installed with the option to uninstall at any time without the loss of cache and other system resources
• An option to run the network driver in promiscuous mode which would allow the systems hardware probe feature to have greater use.
I myself decided to avoid all of the headaches associated with Wife 1.0 by sticking with Girlfriend 2.0. Even here, however, I found many problems. Apparently, you cannot install Girlfriend 2.0 on top of Girlfriend 1.0; you first have to uninstall Girlfriend 1.0. Other users have mentioned that this is a long-standing bug that I should have been aware of. Various versions of Girlfriend apparently have conflicts over shared use of the I/O port. You would think they would have fixed such a stupid bug by now. To make matters worse, the uninstall program for Girlfriend 1.0 doesn’t seem to work very well, leaving undesirable traces of the application in the system.
Another irritating problem is that all versions of Girlfriend continually pop-up annoying messages about the advantages of upgrading to Wife 1.0
BUG WARNING!
Wife 1.0 has an undocumented bug. If you try to install Mistress 1.1 before uninstalling Wife 1.0, Wife 1.0 will delete MYMoney files before executing a self-uninstallation sequence. Mistress 1.1 will then refuse to install, claiming insufficient system resources.
To avoid the above bug, try installing Mistress 1.1 on a different system and never run any file transfer applications such as LapLink 6.0. Also, beware of similar shareware applications that have been known to carry viruses that may affect Wife 1.0. Another solution would be to run Mistress 1.1 via a UseNet provider under an anonymous name. This can however be quite expensive and one should beware of viruses which can accidently be downloaded from the UseNet.

It would have been a lot funnier had it not been blatantly chauvanist - “Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5 ! and Do Bills 4.2″ and “Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3″. What are we living in the 50s again all of a sudden?
November 6th, 2007 at 5:21 pm
Oh that’s right it’s chauvanist because a man wrote this. What about if a woman wrote something like this but it was Husband 1.0 and boyfriend 6.0? I bet you’d think it was so f’ing cute and funny. But no… you’re a femi-nazi that can’t take a joke and attempts to find everything wrong with men. Jokes are funny because they make fun of stereotypes.
Gender roles are still there whether you like it or not. We bring up our daughters and make them wear pink and play with barbie dolls. Our sons play G.I. joe and legos. I know this is a generalization, but you see it EVERYWHERE.

To be successful means to reach the A+ level and for this, students should demonstrate the high quality essay writing help. But is that available to compose it not utilizing an aid of the online writing service? Yes, it is manageable, but that would be more easier to buy paper reffering to this good topic in Internet.
